Predator-and-Prey Dioramas

Predator-and-prey compositions create a strong sense of movement and interaction. Lions, Leopards, Crocodiles and other predators can be positioned alongside suitable prey species to recreate a moment inspired by the natural African environment.

Every animal in the composition remains individually classified as a Full Mount, while the complete combined display is additionally classified as a Diorama.

Multi-Species Displays

A diorama does not necessarily need to depict a hunt. Multiple species can be arranged together within a shared habitat to create a balanced display representing animals from a particular region or ecosystem.

Careful consideration is given to:

The size and position of each animal
The direction of movement and gaze
The height and levels within the composition
The available trophy-room space
The shape and finish of the base
The selected vegetation and habitat details
The overall visual balance of the display

Natural Habitat Bases

Habitat details help connect the individual mounts and establish the setting of the scene. Rocks, trees, branches, grasses, reeds, shrubs and textured groundwork can be incorporated to complement the species represented.

Each base is individually designed according to the dimensions of the finished mounts, the client’s available display space and the intended viewing angles.
