Tiny Ten
Although diminutive in size, these animals require exceptional precision in the taxidermy studio. Their delicate facial structures, fine ears, tiny horns and subtle species-specific markings demand careful anatomical work to recreate each trophy faithfully.
Karoo Taxidermy creates individually crafted shoulder mounts, wall pedestals, freestanding pedestal mounts, full mounts and custom multi-species compositions for hunters building their Tiny Ten or Tiny Twelve collection.
The traditional Tiny Ten is a recognised hunting collection comprising ten of Africa’s smallest antelope. Depending on the hunting organisation, region or collector’s chosen criteria, additional small-antelope species may be included to create an expanded Tiny Twelve collection.
The species most commonly associated with the traditional Tiny Ten are: Blue Duiker, Red Duiker, Common or Grey Duiker, Cape Grysbok, Sharpe’s Grysbok, Steenbok, Klipspringer, Oribi, Suni, Dik-dik and Vaal Rhebuck
Custom cabinetry, habitat scenery, rockwork, branches and multi-species arrangements are available as separately quoted in Special Requests.
