Hunting the Black Wildebeest
The Black Wildebeest is indigenious to South Africa, making it one of the most popular plains game to hunt.
Whilst out on a hunt or game drive, it is always very entertaining to watch the gregarious animals perform their "Clowns of the Prairie" act.
Black Wildebeest is suitable for just about any type of mount, however an addition to the trophy display such as the Blue Wildebeest compliments this display by means of showing the variances in colour and in horns.
The meat of the Black Wildebeest is dark red in colour and make good for steaks (avoid over-cooking), biltong, drywors and hamburger patties.
